Apple Improved its 13-inch White Macbook – Now features 7-hours of Battery life.
Beside Apple’s brand new line of 27-inch iMac models, Apple also made some changes to its 13-inch White polycarbonate Macbook. First thing a user would notice is the entire structure of the Macbook is a unibody (What?!) Yes, the entire Macbook is housed within an unibody polycarbonate case. Secondly instead of the previous 5-hours battery life Apple gives the Macbook a larger battery pack – comparable to ultra-slim PC netbooks, expanding the battery life for continuous use to 7-hours but the Macbook is just more powerful.
Another great feature of the new Macbook is it incorporates the glass-trackpad — trackpad that is used on Macbook Pro series. This enable many Mac Fans to experience the powerful gestural system that Apple invented for Macbook Pro series laptops.
Well something that didn’t change is the price. The new 13-inch White Macbook is still $999.00 and $949.00 for qualified students & school faculty. Now I think Apple is really ready for the next quarter.
I’ m looking forward for the release of Apple’s own tablet laptop and I hope we all will hear something from Apple in their next year’s WWDC.

The new plastic macbook looks way better than the previous generation. It’s all curvy and stuff. Got the feel of the snow leopard.
